One thing we have learned about England is that they are in no hurry to get you out of the restaurant after you are done eating. I suppose some would say it's nice to lead a slower lifestyle. We say it's very inconvenient. After each meal we have waited and waited and finally had to ask for the check. Maybe they feel it is rude to ask you for your money before you are ready to give it. I don't know. Even today at the tea room, as the tea people were already arriving, we sat for a half hour or more with an empty table. Luckily the boys had their iPods to keep them occupied.
