We decided to forgo the free bus transfer from our hotel to Victoria coach station and take an earlier taxi and get brrakfast there before our tour. We figured this would be much more economical than the previous two breakfasts, even with the cab fare, and found we were right.
Upon arriving at the station, we were disappointed to find that Burger King was not open yet. This was fine with Doug, Zack, and I, as there were several pastry shoppes to choose from, but Josh, our least adventurous eater, was concerned. All turned out well, though. Josh found a cinnamon roll (his favorite breakfast food besides donuts) and Doug found a maple nut danish, which was so good he went back for another. I got a super yummy white chocolate croissant and Zack chose a double chocolate muffin and what he thought was orange fanta. It turns out it was orange-peach flavored, and he really liked it.
It was soon time to go to our gate to get our bus. We saw Krissy and was hoping she would be our guide again. It wasn't to be. Our guide today was Monika, but we were pleased to find that our driver from yesterday, Leo, would be at the wheel today as well.
After we were under way, we found today would be a bilingual experience as well. The language of the day was Portuguese. Soon we were on our way to Leeds Castle.
