Since we did not have a tour scheduled today, we decided to sleep in and check out of the rooms at noon and then go have something to eat before heading to the train station for our next adventure. After checking our luggage with the bellman, we went to the tea room to see if they were serving lunch. Luckily they had a table that had not been reserved for High Tea, so we could have it.
Josh ordered his standard cheeseburger and Doug decided on the Mozzarella Sticks. Zack and I each got the "design your own sandwich". He chose turkey, bacon, and cucumber on toasted white bread and I ordered roast beef and cucumber on chibatta. They came with fries. After Josh scraped off all the toppings he had told them to leave off his burger, he had about half of it. He said it was quite tough. Doug tried it and agreed. Our sandwiches were so good. Zack's was quite large, so along with his fries, he was only able to eat half of it. Mine was just right. The bread was nice and chewy and the cucumber was crisp and cool. The perfect combination.
